Financial Framework Partnership agreement
The FFPA is guided by three pillars of Forus action: Connect – Support – Influence
Because the approach was developed by and with the network and has proven effective for Forus, many CSO platforms at regional or national level are now embracing and replicating the framework while adapting their activities to their domestic realities.
The Connect-Support-Influence pillars of action mirror the three suggested clusters of activities.
Connect
Awareness-raising, information exchange, partnerships
Support
Capacity development of members in organisational development, project management, accountability, learning, governance, research, evidence-based advocacy, coordination and collaboration, communications, and digital skills and security
Influence
Research and coordinated advocacy
Throughout the suggested Action, Forus will stay true to this approach by developing activities in the CONNECT pillar to deepen connections, share experiences and messages from Forus members and allies, strengthen and develop the network.
Finally, both the CONNECT and SUPPORT activity clusters maximize the impact of Forus’ advocacy activities -INFLUENCE- at national, regional and global levels.
Forus will also SUPPORT and develop the capacities of national platforms and regional coalitions to become stronger entities and to voice their constituencies’ positions and ambitions, in order to ensure that civil society will be more effective in influencing and shaping domestic and international public policies.
