Today we speak about civic space, and an enabling environment, especially in times of pandemic, we look at what civil society organisations and indigenous communities around the world are doing to unmute civil society and stop the censoring. We are accompanied by Sarah Brandt from Globalt Fokus in Denmark, Jerusha Rai from Haatemalo Collective in Nepal and Oyebisi Oluseyi from the Nigeria Network of NGOs. What do we mean by an enabling environment for civil society and what are the restrictions citizens, activists and human rights defenders are facing?
