At COP29 in November, a new climate finance target will be adopted, replacing the current target of USD 100 billion annually from 2020-2025. The new target will be crucial for the work with development and humanitarian aid for a long time to come, as it will affect the donor countries' overall support to developing countries, and not just their support for climate action.
