DDI Knowledge Hub Community Call on Platform Accountability
Strategic litigation is increasingly being used to hold tech platforms accountable. But what does it mean in practice, and how can civil society organizations — including smaller groups from the Global Majority — engage with it?
In this session, participants will:
-
Gain an introduction to strategic litigation as a practice.
-
Learn how it can advance digital rights and accountability.
-
Explore how even small organizations can contribute by documenting abuses, partnering with legal networks, or linking cases to broader advocacy.

Alexandra is a licensed lawyer with a PhD in Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, with extensive expertise in information law and digital rights.
