The International Civil Society Centre is organizing their second digital dialogue of the year and the first of a double header focusing on the impact of technology on elections.

With 2024 being an election year with 49% of the world’s population taking part in national elections, it is important that issues that could rise such as internet shutdowns, voter suppression, a lack of transparency, and mis/disinformation campaigns be tackled ahead of time.  

In this digital dialogue, the International Civil Society Centre will explore the tools that help democracies thrive as well as tools that threaten the existence of democracies around the world. The panel discussion will explore the challenges experienced during election time and the tech tools used that help overcome those challenges.
