Launch of the Forus Post-2030 Vision Report
As the global community begins to reflect on what comes after 2030, critical questions are emerging about the future of international cooperation and sustainable development. What must the next global development framework protect? What gaps must it address? And what will make the next agenda truly credible?
Forus is pleased to invite you to the launch of our new report, “Forus Post-2030 Vision Paper: What We Defend, Demand and Decline.” The report explores possible futures for global development — from continuity to reset or even fragmentation — and examines the global context that will shape the next framework.
Drawing on national and regional consultations, as well as scenario mapping with our members and partners, the report identifies key advocacy opportunities and sets out the collective priorities of our civil society network: what we defend, what we demand, and what we decline in the emerging post-2030 agenda.
This conversation will bring together governments, UN actors, donors, partners, and civil society allies to reflect on how to ensure that the next global development framework is ambitious, accountable, and rooted in the voices of communities.
Alongside the report launch, participants can also join our social media campaign, where we will unpack the vision paper through articles, podcasts, and digital content highlighting our collective positions and the debates shaping the post-2030 agenda.
We look forward to welcoming you to this important conversation.
More information on how to participate and engage with the Forus Post-2030 Vision will be shared soon.
