Women Deliver Conference

Women Deliver Conference | Forus

Women Deliver 2026 (WD2026) is more than a conference; it is a rallying point for feminist solidarity, resistance, and collective transformation. For the first time, this global event will take place at a regional level, from April 27 to 30, 2026, in Narrm (Melbourne), Australia, marking a historic milestone in the Pacific region. More than a location change, it represents a power shift, centring the leadership, knowledge, and struggles of feminists, activists, and Indigenous peoples at the forefront of climate justice, gender equality, and decolonisation.

At a time when the rights of women, girls, and gender-diverse people are under threat, WD2026 emerges as a strategic and necessary space. It will strengthen feminist and youth leadership in the face of rising anti-rights movements, mobilise intersectional policies that challenge systems of oppression, and reinforce transnational feminist movements to hold governments accountable. It will also reclaim narratives and resist regressive discourses.

WD2026 will be a defining moment for the future of gender equality beyond 2030. Key themes include adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights, climate justice through a gender and age lens, countering anti-rights narratives, and strengthening multilateral action with feminist leadership.
