Feminist and intersectional resources

Conflict often disproportionately impacts women, children, and groups that have historically been marginalised. Feminist and intersectional approaches can support in addressing the specific needs of diverse communities, including women, LGBTQ and persons affected by disabilities.

  • Slow Factory: supporting people of the global majority to advance climate justice and social equity through educational programming, regenerative design, and materials innovation.

  • Fondo Centroamericano de Mujeres - feminist organisation working for a Central America where girls, women, trans and non-binary people actively participate in building enabling environments for their lives and the lives of others, and their communities.

  • Outright LGBTQ lives in conflict and war: Outright highlights intersecting forms of violence that affect LGBTQ people and women and girls of all sexualities and gender identities in conflict zones.

  • Persons with Disabilities in the Context of Armed Conflict: input to the UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities regarding the rights of persons with disabilities in armed conflict. This submission is based on Human Rights Watch’s research in Afghanistan, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Israel/Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, South Sudan, and Syria.
