Forus Virtual Forum begins December 2
Dear Forus Members,
The Forus Virtual Forum is taking place next week, from 2 to 4 December 2025.
Dive deeper into the themes that will be explored on Day 3 related to the Connect pillar and Network Health as we build shared ownership ahead of the Forus General Assembly in 2026 and the Forus 2026-2030 Strategy.
Session 3: CONNECT
-
Date: Thursday, December 4, 2025. Time: 9:00 – 11:00 UTC (Click here to see your local time)
Connect strengthens collaboration within the network by enabling direct, multilingual and decentralised interaction, building stronger links across regions, and creating the conditions for coordinated action.
In this session, together, we will:
-
Explore direct communication and resource mutualisation. Direct exchanges between members — and the sharing of tools, expertise and practical resources, are essential to reinforce solidarity, respond to current challenges, and support collective resilience. The new Forus member-to-member communication system is a key step in this direction.
-
Develop shared understanding of the Connect Pillar by exploring what is new, how it differs from the previous strategy, and how it strengthens collaboration across the network.
-
Generate ideas for peer exchanges, joint actions and practical support between members. We will also share themes and priorities to shape in-person conversations and session proposals for the upcoming Forus General Assembly in Cambodia!
-
Map mutualisable resources with Forus members identifying what they can offer and what they need, helping structure future solidarity mechanisms.
Session 4: NETWORK HEALTH
-
Date: Thursday, December 4, 2025. Time: 13:00 – 15:00 UTC (Click here to see your local time)
Network health introduces the foundation for our future success, dedicated to strengthening our internal connections!
In this session, together, we will:
-
Explore “network health” by setting a shared understanding of what a healthy network looks like and why it matters.
-
Learn from the Forus Social Network Analysis (SNA) with presentations on SNA findings for Forus and how SNA maps can support network weaving.
-
Apply network weaving practices by seeing examples from Forus members and discussing how participants already weave networks and what challenges or opportunities exist.
-
Co-creating next steps to reflect on metrics for network health and how to take SNA and network weaving forward in the Forus network.
