Join the March With Us campaign on gender justice
It is almost time for our 4th annual March With Us campaign on gender justice.
For the whole month of March, we'll be highlighting stories of Forus members and activists involved in the gender justice movement.
Launched in 2021, the campaign features the 100+ stories on gender justice, Power Shifts and equality across the globe. From Aruna Roy and Angela Davis to Matcha Phorn-in, Marijeta Mojasevic, Bandy Kiki, Shaila Shahid, Fahe Kerubo and so many more, we share new practices of collaboration and innovative forms of mobilisation that can lead us forward and inspire action.
Why the March With Us campaign?
According to several Forus reports and research, feminist and LGBTQ+ rights groups are among the most targeted civil society coalitions. They are often victims of attacks, and impunity reigns in many instances. Every year, Forus dedicates one full month to the experiences of those at the forefront of gender justice.
How can you join the campaign?
Podcast: would you like to share your story and projects in a podcast interview and to be part of the March With Us movement?
Article: would you like to share or write an article for the Forus website which will be translated into English, French, Spanish and Portuguese and shared with the network?
Projects: do you have a project or report on gender justice and equality you would like us to showcase as part of our 1-month of action?
Events: would you like to organise an event around the issues and stories of March With Us?
Social media: share contant using the hashtag #MarchWithUs for us to amplify your work. Follow the evolution of the campaign on Forus’ Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Soundcloud accounts.
The Forus network will organise a launch event on March 7, to kickstart the campagin on March 8 on the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day - more details will be available soon.
