On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 25th anniversary of the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights Defenders, the French Development Agency is organizing the "Human Rights and Sustainable Development" Conference on December 8, 2023 in Paris and online. 

The conference will explore how development actors can contribute to the respect, protection and fulfilment of human rights, while taking care to move away from an overly anthropocentric approach towards a more ecocentric approach for the benefit of the living world as a whole.  

Discussions will be held in French, English and Spanish.
