The World Social Forum (WSF) is a global beacon of hope, born in response to the adverse effects of neoliberalism in response to the global trend of shrinking civic space, particularly in Asia. 

The assembly aims to collectively understand the challenges faced by civic space, develop strategies to strengthen it, and foster collaboration among participants.

This 16th edition takes place in Kathmandu, Nepal from February 15-19, 2023.
