The Southern African Council of Non-Governmental Organisations (SAf-CNGO), is organizing the inaugural Annual High-Level Stakeholder Symposium: Catalysing change for SADC Regional Integration and Development.

It is aimed at facilitating dialogue and driving for more impactful and measurable cooperation, collaboration, complementarity, and cohesion among key stakeholders in the SADC region. The 2-day, in-person, regional symposium is aimed at addressing the urgent need to accelerate the regional integration drive in the now limited time frame within which to achieve the goals outlined in the SADC Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan (RISDP 2020-2030). It also aims at: 

• Facilitating dialogue and knowledge-sharing among high-level stakeholders from various sectors.
• Developing practical and efficient strategies and approaches for CSOs to complement the successful implementation of SADC programs, with a focus on Vision 2050, RISDP (2020-2030), and subsequent instruments and programs.
• Outlining areas of focus and proposed strategies for the upcoming year, fostering cooperation and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Creating a platform for mutual understanding and synergy among CSOs in the SADC region.
