The side event proposed by France on the fringes of the 2023 edition of the HLPF will illustrate the essential role of the partnership approach in the implementation of the SDGs and the structuring interactions that link them.

The side event will be structured around two axes:

- The processes for consulting stakeholders in the implementation of the SDGs set up by governments, and in particular in the exercise of the VNRs,

- The sharing of collaborative experiences and good practices at several levels (civil society, research, private sector, local authorities, etc.) to achieve the SDGs.

This French side event will be inclusive and geographically open, with participants from different backgrounds. The speakers envisaged will come from a variety of backgrounds (Europe, North America and Africa), as well as from civil society, the world of research, local and regional authorities, the private sector and international organisations.

The Uganda National NGO Forum, Forus members in Uganda, will be representing the network in this side event.
