This project aims at strengthening Red Encuentro as an actor of national reference, representing social organizations rooted in popular sectors, working for development, inclusion, social justice and rights in general. The network has a 40-year history and aims at undertaking a process of renewal and re-impulse, in order to adapt practices of advocacy to new forms of social participation, while adding new organizations with a territorial commitment, thus achieving a greater scope.  

To this end, the history of Red Encuentro will be systematized, social organizations will be mapped, contacted and invited to join the network, and training processes will be carried out so that the potential of the space in terms of impact on public policies is known.  

At the same time, given the new conditions created by COVID-19, and its terrible health, economic and social consequences, a survey of the situation of the member organizations will be carried out.  

Once these processes have been carried out, virtual dialogues will be generated in order to establish the network's thematic priorities and the strategies, fundamentally of each one, for articulation with public policies in the referent territories of action. And finally, a new strategic plan for the next 5 years will be proposed and approved.
