Alianza ONG proposes a model for strengthening civil society organisations through two components. The first is a virtual course developed in collaboration with an academic institution in the country. The objective is to equip member CSOs with the knowledge and tools to influence the various processes of public policy formulation and monitoring. The course proposes that CSO representatives become multiplier agents of the acquired knowledge, being able to pass on the learning to other members of their organisation. The second component is a face to-face social innovation laboratory to promote critical thinking and innovative approaches to problems of discrimination and gender equality, by fostering project planning and implementation. After an introduction to the design thinking methodology, participants will propose their projects, three of which will be accompanied by Alianza until their completion. The remaining proposals represent a solid basis of projects that could be presented to donors for future implementation, thus promoting s strengthening through multi-stakeholder partnership.
