The complex contingency in which civil society organizations in Chile find themselves does not leave them immune to ACTION, evidencing a scarce capacity for innovation and re-reading of their own functions in the face of the "social liquidity" in which we live. In its recent Ordinary Assembly, when diagnosing this context, it has been considered necessary to generate collective spaces of reflection, putting at the center the sense and motivation of the associative pact subscribed by the partner NGOs and considering the call of the Agenda 2030 as a referential scenario. Furthermore, due to the social explosion that has taken place since 18 October 2019 and the political and social consequences of citizen mobilization, we are required to contribute with a high level of participation in the whole constituent process that has been decreed in order to reach a new constitution. Under these requests, the project represents an opportunity to encourage a broad and inclusive internal debate by proposing the institution of thematic commissions:
- WG1 Alliances and Institutional Horizon: this relevant area has been considered with the representative function of Action, evidencing the need to establish common criteria for the identification of allies in terms of the aforementioned constituent process
- WG2 Implementation of Agenda 2030: many of the partner NGOs participate in different spaces of dialogue at the institutional level and in the Civil Society itself, on public policies and ODS. These circumstances have not been sufficiently socialized, thus limiting the possibility of defining and coordinating a common strategy in the platform. In other words, the work of the WGs represents the most direct and inclusive way for partner NGOs to strengthen the identity and collective value of the association.
