Sanjog Manandhar is an award-winning Nepal-based photojournalist and visual storyteller with over 15+ years of experience documenting the social, cultural, and developmental narratives of Nepal. His work reflects the resilience and diversity of communities across the country, capturing the intersection of tradition and transformation with authenticity and empathy. Formerly an Assistant Senior Sub-Editor and Photojournalist at Kantipur Media Group (2012–2024), Sanjog has collaborated with numerous national and international organizations, including UNFPA, Swisscontact, WHO, Save the Children, Helvetas (SAMI Project), and International Alert. His portfolio includes impactful visual documentation of initiatives in gender-based violence prevention, agricultural market development, and community health engagement. Sanjog’s field experience—spanning both urban centers and remote districts like Bajura, Achham, Udaypur, and Kailali—has shaped his ability to tell human-centered stories that resonate across audiences. His visual narratives combine technical precision with cultural sensitivity, resulting in emotionally compelling and socially relevant work. Sanjog contributes to international outlets such as Agence France-Presse (AFP) and EPA News Photo Agency.
