LAPAS seizes the opportunity of having Latvia as one of the countries presenting a VNR on SDGs in 2018 to encourage NGO engagement in the SDGs, making sure their role and participation in the VNRs is significative and/or proposing the development of a CSO spotlight report. The national platform will contribute to articulating NGO voices and positioning, making sure their practices are systematized. The result will be brought to the HLPF and the lessons learned will be shared with other countries preparing VNR on 2019.
