La Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation(LAPAS) est une plate-forme nationale qui réunit des organisations non gouvernementales en vue d'œuvrer pour la durabilité de la société et le développement durable à l'échelle mondiale. La LAPAS a été fondée le 12 août 2004. Depuis le 31 octobre 2019, LAPAS est le secrétariat de la Coalition nationale multipartite pour la mise en œuvre des objectifs de développement durable.

EN - Women's rights and the "digital gap" In this episode we speak to Inese from LAPAS, Forus member in Latvia and Tatat from Infid, Forus member in Indonesia. Inese tells us about the current context in Latvia, the obstacles women overcome and innovation in civil society organisations. Rebuilding Trust for Inclusive Governance - Unlocking SDG 16 for Peaceful SocietiesIn 2015, the international community embarked on an ambitious journey with the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, setting forth 17 SDGs to create a world that is just, peaceful, and prosperous. Central to this transformative agenda is SDG 16, which aims to promote peaceful and inclusive societies, ensure access to justice for all, and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels. In this report Forus members analyse the status of implementation of SDG 16 and share experiences for the way forward.

With a focus on changing power dynamics, ensuring localization, and decolonizing practices, the report underscores the pivotal role that civil society organizations can play in delivering the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) when appropriately supported.
