Arturo joined the team in early 2020 and has been coordinating Forus' initiatives for a more accountable, transparent and inclusive civil society since 2021. Pre-Forus, Arturo spent several years in the non-profit sector, facilitating impactful connections and dialogue among a diverse array of stakeholders, including international and local NGOs, think tanks, policymakers, start-ups, scholars, and the private sector. With extensive experience as an interpreter and translator in human rights, international crimes, conflict, and gender-based violence, Arturo brings a rich multidisciplinary background. His academic and research expertise spans international relations, interpretation, diplomatic studies, political science, and sustainable development.
