Finance in Common project

Strengthen civil society engagement with public development banks through inclusive dialogue and participation in development finance forums.

The project aims to strengthen civil society engagement in dialogues with public development banks (PDBs). Over a period of 36 months, it supports national and regional civil society organisation (CSO) platforms, helping them actively participate in discussions within the Finance in Common process (FiCS) and other relevant forums, such as the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development, Civil20, Civil BRICS, and the annual meetings of several PDBs.

Forus

The objective is to promote development financing that respects human rights and addresses the needs of the most vulnerable populations. Since 2020, Forus has coordinated more than 200 CSOs to make financing more inclusive, transparent, and aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This project seeks to amplify the voices of local communities and actors from the Global South, while promoting stronger democratic governance and inclusive mechanisms for development cooperation.
