Call for Contributions: Do you have a story you want to write?
Forus shares best practices, stories and experiences from civil society organisations and activists on civic space, collaborative practices and social justice. Why? To increase peer-learning spaces, provide an independent publishing platform, and to share the collective knowledge of the network with a wider audience. One way we advance this mission is by publishing stories from Forus members and partners. These stories can be written or recorded in experimental and creative ways. All contributions are then translated into English, French, Spanish and Portuguese and added to Forus campaigns pages on digitalisation, alternative narratives, different models of development finance and finally gender justice.
- What stories do we publish? From disaster risk reduction, to digital rights, eco-feminism, localization and more, check our News and Forus in the media sections to explore possible topics of interest.
- Format? We accept various formats, from photo essays, short documentaries, and blog posts to opinion pieces, interviews or feature articles for a global audience of civil society leaders
- Why? To share knowledge, experiences, stories within and beyond the Forus network
- Word count? 600-1,500 words
- Languages: We accept contributions in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian
- Find some examples of stories below: How can development projects integrate human rights?
