Voluntary Action Network India (VANI) es una red nacional de organizaciones de voluntariado para el desarrollo de la India. En la actualidad, VANI cuenta con 624 miembros y llega a unas 10.000 VDO de toda la India. Los miembros de VANI van desde organizaciones de base hasta organizaciones nacionales. Los miembros trabajan en una serie de cuestiones de desarrollo prioritarias para el gobierno, como la educación, la salud, la nutrición, el desarrollo infantil integrado, los medios de subsistencia, el desarrollo de habilidades, el medio ambiente, la gestión de los recursos naturales, el cambio climático, el agua y el saneamiento, la respuesta y preparación ante emergencias, la agricultura, la pobreza, etc., en algunas de las zonas más remotas del país.

EN - Finance in Common Summit – Perspectives from the Voluntary Action Network India (VANI)

In this episode, we speak with VANI (Voluntary Action Network India), a Forus member, to discuss the role of civil society in shaping a more inclusive and accountable financial system. As a national network of Indian CSOs, VANI has been at the forefront of advocating for an enabling environment for civil society, ensuring that development policies are people-centered and rights-based.
