Report Launch: Enabling Environment for Civil Society
Forus warmly invites you to the online launch of our new report, “Strengthening the Enabling Environment for Civil Society: Evidence and Priorities for Action.”
Five years after the adoption of the OECD-DAC Recommendation on Enabling Civil Society, this public event will take stock of progress, remaining challenges, and key priorities for the next stage of implementation.
Drawing on evidence from across the global Forus network, this session will:
- Present key findings and action priorities from the report;
- Hear civil society perspectives from different regions;
- Discuss how evidence can support stronger implementation of the Recommendation;
- Explore concrete opportunities for collective advocacy and collaboration.
The discussion will bring together representatives from civil society organisations, donors, development partners, philanthropic actors, and the OECD-DAC community to reflect on what is needed to strengthen enabling environments for civil society.
This meeting will be simultaneously interpreted into English, French and Spanish.
