Why the multi-stakeholder engagement & capacity building commitments of SDG 17 should be prioritised in the Asia-Pacific Region

Short description: This side event focused on the implementation of SDG 17 (“Revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development”) in the Asia-Pacific Region in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic. Additionally, Forus launched its new SDG 17 report. This side event was led by the All Party Parliamentary Group Malaysia on Sustainable Development Goals (APPGM-SDG) with the support of the Economic Planning Unit of the Government of Malaysia. Other partners included the Government of Japan, UNESCAP, ADA, Forus, JANIC, KOICA, KCOC, ASEC and the Malaysian CSO SDG Alliance.
