The Argentine Network for International Cooperation (RACI) is a federation made up of more than 280 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) from across the country, working to strengthen the sector, promote international cooperation, and create fairer and more sustainable conditions for collective development. Since its founding, RACI has established itself as a key space for coordination among social organizations, the private sector, governments, international organizations, embassies, and universities. Its mission is to facilitate connections between these actors and CSOs, generating alliances that enhance collective impact on urgent issues such as sustainability, the defense of civic space, social innovation, access to resources, and democratic building. Through research, training, campaigns, fund management, and advocacy actions, RACI promotes the institutional strengthening of CSOs and advances recognition of the essential role they play in the social transformation of Argentina and the region. With more than 20 years of experience, the Network has been recognized for its leadership at the local and international levels. In 2016, it was declared of Social Interest by the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires, and in 2018 it served as co-chair of the Civil 20 (C20), the civil society affinity group of the G20. In 2023, it obtained consultative status with the United Nations ECOSOC, strengthening its global advocacy. In 2025, RACI launched “Reimagining the Future of Civil Society,” a Global South program that promotes new narratives, alliances, and sustainability models in the face of declining cooperation and the closing of civic space. Today, RACI positions itself as a bridge between civil society and the world, working toward a more inclusive, participatory, and resilient future.
