Zimbabwe recognizes the importance of the SDGs and has so far submitted two Voluntary National Review (VNR) reports in 2017 and 2021. However, there is a need for more inclusive and participatory processes to ensure all voices, especially marginalized groups, are heard. This project seeks to strengthen CSO participation in the 2024 VNR process and contribute towards a more inclusive and participatory approach to SDG implementation in Zimbabwe. Through this project, the VNR process will present an opportunity to hold the government accountable for its commitments to the SDGs and to advocate for policies and programs that are aligned with the 2030 Agenda.
