How Red Encuentro is supporting youth and defending democracy in Argentina

#NoOneLeftBehind

Red Encuentro in Argentina is leaving no one behind, and you? Share your story!

In Argentina, where young people face high rates of unemployment, political exclusion, and setbacks in rights, Red Encuentro is creating real spaces for participation, training, and civic engagement.

Under the leadership of Milagros Santeiro, a young woman president, the network is driving initiatives that place youth at the center. Member organizations of Red Encuentro work together to host regional gatherings with public policy leaders, run awareness campaigns, and offer civic education workshops. Their goal is clear: that young people are not only heard, but have real power to decide and act.

In a context of democratic crisis, Red Encuentro proves that building citizenship with youth is not a utopia—it’s both an urgent need and a real possibility. Because there is no full democracy without the voice of those who are shaping the present.

“Young people are on the move. We organize and get involved to transform reality. From civil society, we build active participation.”
