Hosted by the NGO Major Group, Action for Sustainable Development and GCAP, held during the middle weekend of the HLPF on Saturday 19 July, the Civil Society Weekend Workshop will enable informal exchange of views, networking and dialogue on key issues for civil society engagement on the 2030 Agenda. Dialogue to include:Access to the UN in a time of crisis, sharing national civil society experiences: opening access to the UN in the VNRs, joint planning for upcoming moments- World Social Summit & COP30. A diverse range of CSO partners from around the world will be present. The UNDP will share their views on UN 80 reforms and ensuring that civil society voices are included both in the reform process and in the new model which emerges over coming years.
