Paul Antoine Matos

Paul Antoine Matos (Mérida, Mexico, 1993) is a journalist and writer, author of the books Embellecedores de Huesos and En modo avión. He has professional experience with Agence France-Presse (AFP), La Jornada Maya, and Canal Once, as well as collaborations with Radio Ambulante, Así como suena, Gatopardo, Fábrica de Periodismo, Revista de la Universidad, and Revista Casa del Tiempo. He is a member of the Latin American Network of Young Journalists, participated in the IVLP program of the U.S. Department of State, and completed the Creative Writing Diploma at UNAM. He is a PECDA Yucatán 2025–26 fellow in the Narrative Journalism category. For the Forus Journalism Program, he will work with Maggie Morett.
