BPID was established in 2009 under the TRILOGUE project, in cooperation with CONCORD and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in order to facilitate dialogue between the EU and the Global South. The platform brings together hundreds of experts and advocates from 16 national non-profit organizations in the field of social justice, Bulgaria and EU development policy, the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Global education. The BPID focuses its efforts on the possibilities for improving the regulatory framework at national and European level regarding development cooperation.
