Weather

In May, Gaborone experiences pleasant weather with temperatures ranging from an average low of around 11°C to a high of approximately 28°C. Enjoy the outdoors, but don't forget to stay hydrated and apply sunscreen for sun protection.

In Botswana, the standard voltage is 230 V and the frequency is 50 Hz. The power plugs and sockets used are of type D, G and type M. Type D plugs have three round pins in a triangular pattern. Type M plugs have three round pins in a larger triangular pattern. If your appliances have plugs that are different from these types, you may need to bring a suitable adaptor.
