CANGO is leaving no one behind, and you? Share your story!

In Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces, CANGO partnered with local hospitals and government agencies to restore vision for 15,000 cataract patients over 50 years old—completely free of charge. With support from health departments and external specialists, the program also trained 5,000 rural eye doctors and improved local diagnostic capacity.

Outreach extended beyond surgery: hundreds of post-stroke patients received home care, and thousands more underwent general medical screenings. For many elderly patients, regaining their sight meant reclaiming their independence and ability to contribute to their communities.
