Harsh Jaitli (Harshvrat Jaitli) brings nearly 40 years of expertise in civil society, empowering organizations across India and globally. A graduate of Jawaharlal Nehru University's School of International Studies, he previously served as Director at PRIA, advancing environmental health, occupational safety for hazardous industry workers, local governance, and organizational development. As Chief Executive of VANI, India's national platform with 650 member organizations, he drives capacity building, evidence-based advocacy, financial accountability, resilience, governance, and positive narratives through stakeholder engagement. Key roles include Vice Chair and founding member of the Asian Development Alliance (linked to Forus since 2009), Board member of the Forum for Indian Development Cooperation (FIDC) under India's Ministry of External Affairs, and representative in the European Commission's Policy Development Forum. He contributed to the Government of India's Empowered Group EG6 for COVID mitigation and the 2010 Ministry of Corporate Affairs committee on CSR review.
