Journalism Fellowship

Shaping #PositiveNarratives

Active, passionate and free? Reporting on civil society’s initiatives is gradually decreasing, it struggles to inspire optimism and to recognise the vital role that civil society plays for citizens around the world. This decline is due mainly to lack of resources, coupled with the increasing repression and threats faced by independent journalists anfreedom storytellers worldwide- the very ones who can find strategies and solutions to the complex challenges confronting both media systems and civil society worldwide

That’s what we want to change.

Forus

Journalism meets civic action building stories that make change visible.

In response to this situation, Forus has established the Forus Journalism Fellowship programme as part of its #PositiveNarrative campaign. This initiative provides opportunities for journalists all over the world who have experience and passion in advancing social justice, human rights, and sustainable development by reporting on civil society and community-led activities.
