The 5th cycle of the Forus Leadership Development Programme is dedicated to elevating the power of women leaders within the Forus network.

This 2024-2025 cycle reflects Forus’ commitment to Sustainable Development Goals promoting gender equity and advancing inclusive governance. A priority that is deeply aligned with Forus’ broader advocacy efforts including the annual #MarchWithUs campaign, which amplifies voices and stories of gender justice.

Strengthen networks by building bridges within and beyond civil society to promote collaboration.
Drive global progress by aligning with international agendas like the Beijing Declaration to create sustainable impact towards gender equity.

International learning circle on Inclusive Leadership

By August 2025, the 12 participants of the 5th cycle of the Leadership Development Programme will host an open international learning circle on Inclusive Leadership in civil society organisations. Subscribe to the Forus Newsletter to receive an invitation.

Participants in this cycle of the Leadership Development Programme will be guided by Nomvula Dlamini, an experienced Organisation Development practitioner, social facilitator, evaluator, trainer, mentor and leadership coach with 28 years of work across various sectors. Elisa Novoa, Forus Capacity Strengthening Coordinator, oversees the programme. A network development specialist from Colombia bringing extensive experience in design thinking, participatory grant-making and cross-cultural collaborations, Elisa has led institutional strengthening and empowerment programmes for feminist and youth-led collectives and social movements globally.
